PAYMENTSplease pay upfront so i am able to start on your commission! ^^ for returning clients, i allow 50% upfront and 50% after the initial sketch has been approved! i will not begin working on the commission until the required payment has been received.REVISIONSsmall detail revisions are generally fine, but i allow up to 2 major revisions throughout the entire process. any additional major revisions beyond this limit may require an additional fee, depending on the extent of the requested changes.DEADLINES AND DELIVERYplease allow me ample time to finish the commission especially if its a big one! simple portraits can generally take around a week, while character turnarounds and larger illustrations may take a couple of weeks or longer.estimated completion times are not strict deadlines unless a deadline has been explicitly agreed upon beforehand.USE & COMMERCIAL RIGHTSall commission prices are for personal use only. This includes personal social media, profile pictures, gifts, printing, and non-commercial personal merch.commercial use requires an additional +100% of the base price per character (double the original price). This includes selling prints/merch, monetized content, advertising, branding, products, or other profit-generating use.if any third party person, business, or organization wishes to use the artwork commercially, the intended use must be disclosed to me and the appropriate commercial fees must be settled upon before use. commercial use will only be granted to that third party client and only for the usage it was agreed upon, and may not be transferred to another party without permission.
commercial rights do not transfer copyright or ownership of the artwork.CLIENT RIGHTSthe client may use and share the artwork according to the rights purchased. the artwork may not be resold, redistributed, licensed, claimed as their own, or used commercially without commercial rights.watermarks/signatures may not be removed without permission, and the artwork may not be altered in a way that misrepresents my work.ARTIST RIGHTS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTYi retain full copyright and ownership of all artwork unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
i may display, post, and use commissioned artwork for my portfolio and promotional purposes, and retain all original/source files. i may also decline or cancel a commission at my discretion.AI, NFT & CRYPTO RESTRICTIONSmy artwork may not be used for any sort of AI training, generative AI, NFTs, cryptocurrency/blockchain projects, unauthorized tracing, or automated reproduction.CREDIT & AUTHORSHIPdo not claim the art as your own and i must be credited (my artist name/VGen handle) whenever you share the art in other platforms. removing my watermark/signatures without my permission is not allowed. ^^REFUNDSi will not be accepting refunds unless the commission is still in the rough sketch phase or has not been started yet. if a refund is requested while the commission is still in the rough sketch phase, i will refund 50% of the original payment. once the commission has progressed beyond the rough sketch phase, refunds generally will not be available.COMMUNICATIONi understand communication styles vary from client to client, so it would be helpful to let me know if you'd like the updates about WIPs and progress to be frequent, less frequent, or none at all. usually, i send updates regularly regarding the commission for your approval and correction (if any) before i advance to the next step of the art process.THIRD-PARTY USEthe client may not give, sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise transfer their usage rights to another person, company, organization, or third party without my explicit written permission. third parties may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit the artwork without authorization from the artist.if another person or business wishes to use the artwork commercially, they must contact me directly to arrange the appropriate commercial license.
